Traffic is not the same thing as a useful landing-page visit. Before changing the colours, check the path in the order below. It separates a weak page from a weak offer and from a broken contact route.
1. Check the message match
Compare the words that brought the visitor to the page with the first screen they see. A Google Business Profile, ad or referral should lead to a page that names the same service, audience and next step. A generic “quality service” headline after a specific search creates doubt before the visitor reads the details.
Check traffic quality before blaming the page
Separate the source, search intent and message match from the page itself. Traffic that is irrelevant, too early in the buying process or sent to the wrong destination will not become enquiries because the layout changed.
2. Make the next step specific
“Contact us” leaves the visitor to guess what happens next. Name the small action: send the public business link, ask for a fixed quote, or request two initial ideas. Keep the promise factual. A first step should reduce uncertainty, not imply a result the business cannot control.
3. Remove unnecessary form friction
Ask only for information needed to respond. TREZVO uses one free-text contact field because a visitor may prefer phone, WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram or email. Product or qualification questions can be asked after the first reply when they are genuinely needed.
4. Show evidence without stretching it
Use real work, a real person, a published starting price or a measured client result when you have one. Label what a number measures and for which period. A profile interaction is not a customer, a call is not a sale, and a screenshot is not proof of a ranking guarantee.
5. Test the mobile path
Submit the form on a phone. Check that the primary action is visible, the contact field is labelled, the success state is understandable and the page does not require horizontal scrolling. This is a test of the route, not a request for more copy.
Check delivery and response ownership
If the visitor completes the action, verify the request reaches the server, is stored, triggers the agreed notification and has a named person responsible for the reply. Traffic plus no enquiries is not automatically bad design.
What to do before rebuilding
Write down the visitor intent, the promised outcome, the one conversion action and the evidence supporting each claim. If those four items are unclear, a new layout only hides the diagnosis. If they are clear and the form still fails, inspect delivery, errors and analytics before commissioning a redesign.
